I'm still struggling to believe the extreme lows.... sea level in the tropical South Pacific. And yes those other islands have similar lows.... Norfolk Island ( about 1000klm further south ) if one looks at the Wikibox, has much warmer lows....until you look a bit deeper into the historical records of the 1940's and '50's... All time record lows for the 3 Winter months: Norfolk Island - 7.1c, 6.2c and 7.7c Lord Howe Island - 6.1c, 6.4c and 5.9c But somewhat warmer still, than the Loyalty Islands

Not much change in max temps but wildly varying mins. Even some rain on days with mins as low as 5 C....might have to file this under "yeah...nah".
