Ok this one is a pretty interesting WMO station located in the Campus of Harokopio University in Athens. Just 1km south of Downtown Athens. What's particular about this one is a) the fact that it registers the highest summer average maxes in the Athens Basin along with Nea Filadelfeia. This is due to the foehn effect coming from Athens's surround hills in the area when we get the summer Meltemi winds in Greece. b) look at those minimums! By far the lowest in urban Athens. Especially winter ones. This is due to being located in a well known area for its T inversions during the night! A fully green landscape inside the Campus. UHI like can't do shit over there. Nearby Votanikos in the 1930's registered a -10C (its still a bit debatable value) when the historic WMO station in the hill of Thiseio in Downtown Athens was only -5C on the same day. Its a BSh hot semi-arid climate bordering Csa I am giving it a C-. Hate minimums. Here the actual station placement

Hey can u vote again? I had to edit the poll due to a spelling error! Sorry for that No problem. Voted again Reason for A- is that the climate is nice, pretty dry, Mediterranean but with some summer rain, maybe a bit too toasty in summer. Also the diurnals aren't particularly large here.

C-
Winters a bit long and chilly. Rest of the year is agreeable. What are the sunshine hours? Sad that many Greek places you post lack sunshine hours. The sun is a very important factor to me.

Best data we have for the corresponding period (Nov 2016- Apr 2024) come from the Hellinikon WMO station (next to my house actually) in the Athens Riviera. It works out 2949.7 hours of annual sunshine
