Both have a similar yearly mean, similar record highs/record lows, and both see a few days of accumulated snow winter.

Amman of course, that Guangxin shitsoon is horrific. Both have great temps, but Amman's is better in this regard too.
You could have used West Amman which is even better as it gets over twice the rainfall of East Amman.

Amman for sure, lovely climate, unironically an A+ climate

China, actually gets some storms and weather of interest. July and august are nightmarish though.

I don't mind either of them, but voted for rainfall/greenery as opposed to aridity. Guangxin likely has greenery all year round unless winter frost kills off the grass.

Guangxin of course.

Many Chinese climates have the feature of a warm and rainy June followed by hot to very hot July and August.
If the plum rains continue to July and August most of China could've managed much cooler summers.
This pattern reminds me of Texas.

Guangxin because it's wetter, though I'd have chosen West Amman if it were an option

Guangxin because it's not bone dry for more than half the year.

Guangxin. Worse sunshine hours but better summers.

Guangxin for getting rain. That July and August look spectacular.

Amman. Guangxin has somewhat better temps, but is too wet with a shitty precip pattern. And not to mention how much more sun Amman gets than Guangxin.

Amman. Far too dry but MUCH sunnier and has better temps

Prefer the temps of the chinger one, but far too cloudy so going with Amman.

Amman by far.
Much sunnier and drier.

Would vote for Csa West Amman if that was what the screenshot was of. However, this is BSh East Amman, so I will abstain. Guangxin is (probably?) in the general vicinity of where my paternal grandfather was born- those 34-35 C July/August highs and the late-spring precipitation peak suggest Jiangxi.

I wanted a better contrast between the Chinese city and Amman (as the battle tried to pose very wet vs very dry). So the drier East Amman deemed fit. Maybe with West Amman (since many here prefer it) the votes would've been lopsided, I don't know.

West Amman > Guangxin. Much better summer temps
but Guangxin > East Amman. 245mm is too dry, and I'd suffer through the hot steamy summer to get the better rainfall in Guangxin.

Guangxin I guess for being wetter, though I would pick West Amman over it.
