Manila is the capital of the Philippines. Daly City, in the San Francisco Bay Area, is the most Filipino mid-size city in the United States. In the 2010 census, 40.7% of people in Daly City are of Filipino descent. The climate data from San Francisco's oceanside should represent Daly City's climate well. In any case, the difference between Manila's climate and Daly City's climate is quite pronounced.

Daly City is more comfortable. I like cool foggy days, even though having it year-round is too much.

Daly City for being more comfortable and having more warmth potential (than Manila's cold potential), despite lacking the intense monsoon of Manilla (which even for me, is too intense)

Manila ... your quintessential S E Asian tropical paradise ! Hell, Darwinites and Top Enders go there to escape the heat at home... oh, and for other reasons as well......

As much as I love clouds and rain, I'm going to have to choose San Francisco due to temperatures

ManilaIt's a bit steamier than ideal, but it's better than Daly Shitty where there's probably exactly one warm day in the average year looking at those abysmal stats. Seriously, 65.8 F mean max in July? I'm pretty sure Reykjavik, 25 degrees farther from the equator, can do better than that.

As much as I hate Daly City's lack of sustained warmth, Manila's warm rains and humidity are tough to stomach, so Daly City it is.

Daly city.
No actual person would prefer the steaming tropical cesspit of Manila over mild Daly City. I just refuse to believe it.
