Wollemi National Park is just 130 kilometres (81 mi) northwest of Sydney (closer to the western suburbs though). Both places have similar mean annual maximums.

Both are shite, Wollemi has shitter crummers, but certainly more sunshine and storms, so has to be Wollemi.

What's fascinating to me is that many parts (such as some of its slot canyons) are still yet to be discovered by humans. What a gem of a place it must be!
