Apple Valley and Orange are two cities in Southern California with fruity names. They are both named after the fruits. Apple Valley was named after apple orchards in the area, while Orange was named to promote the orange groves in that city. Which fruit's climate do you prefer? Victorville, near Apple Valley Santa Ana, next to Orange

Apple Valley for hotter summers and seasonality. Both places are too dry, though.

Santa Ana. No storms or snow in the other place so might as well have comfort most of the year.

Apple Valley, even though I really love Orange's climate. I've lived there and can vouch for Orange County's amazing climate. However, I am forced to pick Apple Valley because it's closer to my dream climate. Maybe my new dream climate was a mistake.

Orange for being milder.
Apple Valley doesn't look very suitable for apples

Appleton, WI and Orange, NSW are better than both of these.
Of the two in the poll, Orange for the milder summer temps and higher rainfall.
