Thought you hated deserts and hated cold yeah, but Aktau is also the only one with warm summer lows, the best summer highs, and has the odd chance of summer rain versus virtually zero chance for Zhetisay. Also looks the most humid. They're all deserts. |

Also looks the most humid. They're all deserts. Aktau gets just 5" of rain, and Zhetisay gets 12" annually. Aktau is an actual desert, while Zhetisay is a grassland.
Outskirts of Aktau loom like this, a pure desert. Basically nothing grows. 
Outskirts of Zhetisay are much lusher, a fertile grassland that even supports trees.

tommyFL what you fail to understand is that just because a climate is Mediterranean or isn't the wettest place on earth, doesn't mean it's automatically a desert. "Desert" has a meaning; it's not just "climate that's drier than I prefer".
