I choose Sanya.
The Yemeni one is a bit cold, but isn't horrible. It's my hometown.
I remember the afternoon sun was extremely bright, much brighter than here in Qatar despite the much cooler temps.
The cold climate is the reason why people there wear jackets and coats year-round and like to stay under the sun, and also the reason why Sanaa is one of the few Middle Eastern cities where we don't use ACs. The first time I saw an AC was when I came to Qatar.

The Chinese one. Heat, humidity and storms are critical to my quality of life, therefore the greater heat potential is more important than any cooler winter.

Sanya. Tropical climates always beat deserts, especially deserts with recorded frost. Sanya is an A+ climate.

It seems like a beautiful city with a lot of rich history, but unfortunately has gone through some tough times in recent years. Anyway, my vote is for Sana'a. It's too dry but the temps are comfortable.

Sana'a, though the nights are too chilly for my liking. The Chinese one is suffocating.

It's a tough decision. Sanya, probably. Vegetation wins over comfort in this case.

Sana’a’s daytime highs are warm enough to rationalize AC but it isn’t anywhere close to a tropical climate where it stays hot and humid enough to leave it on continuously.

Both climates are absolute rubbish, but I'd choose Sanaa, reluctantly. Despite Sanaa having the slightly less shit climate, I'd rather live in Sanya since it has a more beautiful landscape, architecture and friendlier people.
