China has five autonomous regions and two special administrative regions. Here are their capitals, very different, I would say. Which one has the best climate? Hohhot, Inner Mongolia AR Yinchuan, Ningxia AR Ürümqi, Xinjiang AR Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang AR Lhasa, Tibet AR Hong Kong, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Macau, Macau Special Administrative Region

Hong Kong. Wetter and smaller diurnals than I'd ask for, but the less disgusting cool season cloud gives it the edge over Nanning

Lhasa is clearly the only suitable option.

Only 3 of the 6 choices deserve consideration: Hong Kong, Macau and Nanning.

HK, warmest and sunniest (of the warm options). Very gloomy from Feb-Apr though.

I'd prefer Macau, it's a drier version of Hong Kong.
