Both of these climates are at 38N/S and can get extreme heat from foehn winds. However, Avlonas is much hotter on average in summer, while Avalon has the typical bipolar weather you see in southern Australia. Its record high of 47.9C is the highest temperature ever recorded in southern Victoria. The Greek place has slightly cooler and much wetter winters, and is one of the wetter climates in the Athens area. In contrast, Avalon is quite dry for southern Victorian standards, being located in a rain shadow. Which of these climates do you prefer? Avlonas, GreeceAvalon, Victoria, Australia

I simply can't do Victorian climates south of the Great Dividing Ranges ( which run east-west through central Victoria and south of the ranges has that bi-polar shit... ) The 'Spiros the Greek' one gets the vote....

^Me neither.
I'll talk Avlonas for the reliably warm summers and, well, sustained summer heat (something that SoVic lacks).

Avlonas, for more consistently warm summers and having greater rainfall

Avlonas is nearly perfect, a true A+ climate. Ideal temps, ideal rainfall, wins in a landslide.

Avlonas's data source isn't reliable and the precip is unusually high for the area, but it wins if the data is correct.

Avlonas, despite the too short POR assuming real data.

To be fair, even if Avlonas data is inaccurate (in which it probably is), the town and that region in general are still much hotter than any areas in coastal Victoria in summer (Athens is proof of that if you want a more reliable source).

With Ben, Tommy and Beercules all picking Avalon, itโs confirmed southern Vic is a heat wankerโs paradise

Even if Avlonas's data are boteved, it's obvious that its summers are vastly warmer than those of Avalon, VIC. And we're supposed to be rating the climate, not the integrity of the data, right? So shouldn't Avlonas be the obvious choice for a summer heat wanker?
