These are two very different Aussie climates, yet neither are probably liked that much. Would you rather have the hot semi-arid climate of Wyndham, or be in drizzly maritime Wynyard? Wyndham, WAWynyard, TAS

Wynyard by a landslide.

Wyndham, the choice between a hot climate with exciting storms and heat and high dewpoints vs a literal tundra hell

Wyndham by a long shot. Still hellish, but I would loathe a cloudy, damp, cool to chilly climate all year round.

Wyndham, still quite bad though

I've worked in and around Wyndham and Kununurra during the 'build up'. Trust me when I say 'it's bad....' the heat is debilitating and relentless. Dry season is ( mostly ) quite nice. But sure as hell I don't do those Tassie climates....

Wyndham
no Tasmanian climate will ever win a battle I'm a part of unless it's against a siberian tundra.

But sure as hell I don't do those Tassie climates.... Temps during the buildup are only slightly lower than coastal Arabian cities in summer. By seeing the weatherbox I knew it would be horrible. The wet season is very hot but looks more tolerable. Did you go there in the wet season? If yes, did you find the heat as debilitating as build up season or easier on the body?

Wynyard, Wyndham's heat is kind of extreme

The 'wet season' can be a bit hit and miss in that part of the Kimberleys.... some years the heat continues well into Jan-March, other times the monsoon and cloud lowers the max temps substantially and the wet season months can be relatively pleasant. But generally its pretty tough.

Wynyard for lacking shitty hellishly warm rain. Warm rain is far from hellish. Anyway, I'll go with Wyndham.

Wyndham, Fuckan.
I believe Wyndham is the hottest climate in Australia on an annual basis, where there is actually a weather station.
