Jinan and Qingdao are the two largest cities in eastern China's Shandong province. They both have similar climates, but Qingdao, along the ocean, is moderated by maritime influence. Which climate do you like better?

Jinan. At least its longish summers can compensate the cold winters.

Qingdao. Significantly better summers outweigh the worse February/March.

Jinan for being warmer. Those springs especially have a great warmup, while Qingdao has hellish lag.

Qingdao. Hot summers aren't so fun with monsoonal Asia's dew points.

Jinan. Qingdaoโs summer is warm enough for me, but Iโm voting for Jinan for itโs warmer springs.
