God those lows suck And yet still, somehow, it's a solid B-, despite your pure love for straight tropical climates I'm not sure what your point is here... obviously it gets a much better grade than Boretage, Boston, Stockholm, Moscow, etc. Notice I didn't give it an A. That grade is reserved for tropical and warmer Cfa/Cwa climates.

B. Interesting find - a monsoonal subtropical highland climate with potential for real winter cold. The right kind of rain pattern, crisp winter nights but reliably warm highs year-round. Probably does alright for storms, too. The main problem is the summer lows being a bit cool and the frequent winter frosts limit the kinds of subtropical plants that can grow there.
This place actually has a similar annual mean to Auckland and Melbourne, but I'd easily choose this over either of those.
