For American Thanksgiving, that's the time of the year when I like it to transition from fall to winter, so something right around freezing, either a little above or below, with a decent chance of snow most years, and perhaps a bit on the gloomy side - a taste of the winter that's to come in December.
For Canadian Thanksgiving (mid-October), firmly fall-like, temperatures in the mid to upper teens Celsius and sunny, with green grass and fall colors underway.
