Also, the North American seasonal thread had much less of a decline than European threads. Seasonal thread was probably close to 2/3rds of my forum usage. Post count of seasonal threads: Autumn 2017: 3,612 posts; 99,566 pageviews Summer 2017: 4,700 posts; 119,789 pageviews Spring 2017: 4,422 posts; 137,884 pageviews Winter 2017: 5,581 posts; 187,913 pageviews Autumn 2016: 3,646 posts; 103,297 pageviews Summer 2016: 5,613 posts; 190,171 pageviews I suspect winter naturally is the busiest seasonal thread, but summer 2016 was high. I posted more in Autumn 2017 since summer 2016 though there was no chat thread to post in. But Cambium, ChicagoGeorge and Firebird totaled to 42% of the Autumn thread post volume |

Yac killed the unhappy and chat threads, not me In all seriousness, in total something like 45 % of this board has been weather related but with the death of Juntermania that has crawled above half the post recently I think. So it's fair to say, especially substracting the General Chat Thread on there and now deleted troll posts that this forum is at least 20-25 % more popular in weather talk. |

We've had 3698 posts in the Chat section in a little over three months here (so 40 a day even without the hundreds in the shoutbox), did the chat threads combined really get that much?
Plus a lot of the music, sports, politics stuff that has its own sections here would go in the chat threads over there.

General Chat Thread III got 12,477 Jul 2016-17 Happy Thread V 3,774 from Jul 2016-Aug 2017 Unhappy Thread III 5,700 from early April to early August roughly an average of 2767 posts per month in the chat threads. Of course, all the most active chat posters are here. |
