It's been four years since I maded this thread on shitty-data (also known as C-P), no offence to retards. How would the overall rating be here? The breakup of votes were on C-D: A: 8 B: 10 C: 8 D: 7 E: 6 F: 3 I think Turku will fare worse here as warm lovers are the majority. (note, there are two contradicting figures for the August record high, the other being 32.6C and the other 32.4C.) And then the "Swedish style" weatherbox: (note that the records are from the Artugaynen weather station only for that 02-16 time period and thus not the same as the all-time records.)

I'd give it a C, a bit too moderated for my standards but certainly not a horrible climate. Sunshine hours are about ideal, but could use more precip.

D-. Too cold for too long, weak summers, too wet but livable.

D
By no means bad for the latitude.

Straight D for me unlike my climate which is D+, the main difference of course being the less warmth potential in shoulder seasons and winter lows being a bit too cold. It's still a very good candidate for "best climate north of 60Β°N" along with Falun and urban Helsinki though, so it's by no means terrible

C. Lovely winters, bland summers.

I'll give this a C-, better than my climate because of the sunny springs/summers and more guaranteed winter weather, but still far from ideal because it's too cold for too long.

E+, shit, but summers get sun and potential for warmth.

A
Temperatures are perfect and sunshine hours are good. Could use some more rainfall, but that's not a deal breaker by any means.

a D for me, mild summers coupled with cold, but not extreme winters makes for lousy climate, it's livable, but I'd prefer not to live there.

As much as I admire Finland and your nature, history, culture, folklore and epic metal bands, the climate sucks. Turku is probably the best in the country though and have more sunshine than here, so it's an E+, and of course it is fantastic for its latitude. Β

E+
Better than Buxton for the good sunshine hours in the summer. Still a bleak and terrible climate, much like its weird name.
