The Cabbage trees photos look decidedly British.
The remaining photos do have a somewhat European look, although not Italian.
The last photo is the most standout, and almost looks like it could be in the Caribbean -where is that?

I myself was surprised by that, I didn't realise it looked that nice until I Googled it.

Warm winters mean man-made global warming and now we learn cold winters also mean man-made global warming. More money please.

One common one around here is the (strange) belief that if the temperature is lower than 32F it will automatically snow. Heard a bunch of comments on the 40F forecasted lows here saying things like "wow, only 8F colder and it would snow"
A frequent misconception about Miami's climate is that it's always hot and sunny. People always seem to be suprised by wontet cold snaps of prolonged rainy periods.

People down here don't seem to realize that when we get near freezing weather it's almost always associated with crystal clear skies. They must think it's constantly snowing 24/7 during winter in places like Chicago or Minneapolis lol. Dumb asses.

My climate averages about 1900 days which see 32F or colder, between snowfalls, so that certainly isn't something people say here....... earthquake just now .... a 4.8

That you get a suntan from hot weather. It drives me up the wall when people say that!
Also that our climate makes people suicidal in winter. 17 million people live in London and the Home Counties. Paris and Moscow are even cloudier, while Istanbul is also very cloudy in winter. They clearly aren't struggling to keep people there.

My girlfriend's mom literally thought that hot days gave you sunburn easier because the sun's rays are stronger which is why it's hot to begin with

I usually associate cabbage trees with cooler climates Look exotic in Europe though, especially the north, since they aren't native.

Exotic is anything that's normally found far away though isn't it? So our birch forests would be exotic for Alex.

People think our climate is like fucking Fairbanks. They think having a temp above freezing in winter is some record heat wave when our average high in January is excactly freezing. They also seem to think we get blizzards every day.

That would make things like chestnuts, locusts or sumacs exotic in the UK, even though they are some of the most common tree species.
