Man, it honestly felt pretty bad even with the Eagles up 5 but Brady on the field. Without a defensive stop. 3 prior TD,drives. You should have heard my dad screaming when the Eagles got that fumble recovery:D

Great game. Glad to see the underdog win. I hear fireworks too. America was with the Eagles tonight! Fuck New England!

Two great decisions on the catch rule by the refs. Seen those overturned against the pats so many times but not this time. Thank you Gene!

First Eagles preseason game is tonight. Don't think I'm interested enough to watch though.

First Eagles preseason game is tonight. Don't think I'm interested enough to watch though. I was doing something else this evening so didn't watch any. However, this preseason as a whole is probably a bit more interesting than most due to the uncertainty surrounding a number of rookie QBs.

LeβVeon Bell can get fucked. Greedy little bitch wasnβt satisfied with 12 million a year so he wouldnβt sign a long term deal and meh doesnβt want to play so he wonβt get injured and ruin a chance at a huge deal with some other team after this season.
His agent says heβs sitting out week 1 and probably longer. Fucking selfish ass player who only gives a fuck about himself and not about the team.
James Conner might be good but heβs certainly not one of the top 3 rbs in the league, without Bell weβre definitely gonna take a step back although it doesnβt matter anyway with the same coach who cant win in the playoffs anymore.
Anyway I hope he comes back week 10 (the latest he could report) and sucks majorly and then tears his acl and doesnβt get the massive deal heβs asking for next season.
Greedy, selfish players can get fucked.

FUCK NIGHT GAMES Eagles season opener tonight, but there's no way in hell I'd be able to make it through the game. Better for the West Coast, I suppose. Fuck the West Coast.

Apparently there will be another 3 games at Wembley this year (Twickenham missing out).

Apparently there will be another 3 games at Wembley this year (Twickenham missing out). What about this London-based team idea is it still going? Also, is it having an effect on British youngsters playing American football? I guess a lot of London's younger demographic is way too busy playing the oval ball instead.
With so few travels required having a team in London should definitely be viable in that way. Even a Hawaiian team could work travel-wise.

A lot of the fans are Americans living in London; most people just see it as a novelty thing. Most unis have American football teams, but that was a thing before they started playing NFL games here. It will never be as popular as football or rugby.

I've not really in favor of international expansion. It doesn't bother me at all that the game is pretty much just an American (and Canadian) phenomenon.
The NFL is indeed eyeing potential expansion to London, but there are plenty of American markets that frankly are more deserving of a franchise.
My Eagles will be playing in London. It's technically an away game. Jacksonville is the designated home team. The NFL should certainly know better than to deprive a team like the Eagles of a home game. There are only eight regular season home games, so having one of these international games like the London thing, or when the Bills were playing a game a season in Toronto, is a real imposition on the home fan base.
The Eagles game will be on at 9:30 AM. Knowing Eagles fans, there's going to be a LOT of early morning drinking! LOL. Actually, it's crazy to think of an Eagles game having such an early start. Doesn't bother me, though, because I'm a morning person to begin with.

Is the CFL large enough to discourage trying to have an NFL franchise in Toronto or Vancouver snj90?

If there are only 8 home games then London easily has the population to fill out every home game. It makes more sense from a logistics point to have the team in LA though, which has a similar population but closer to everyone else.

What a great start for Kentucky football! Two weeks ago they beat Florida for the first time in my life, and tonight beat #14 Mississippi State handily 28-7.
