Yeah we might as well get a record in. I won't like the cost of heating in this place but it's at least interesting if it's going to be cold.
31°C sounds much nicer to me though.

I just wish it'd hold off for a couple of more months. 31 C in May is okay, but at the beginning of March not so much.

For Marburg, -14.7 °C (5.5 °F) this morning. Damn, and you missed it? -8.1C here last night, not sure if it will be clear enough to get that low tonight but the forecasts have been underestimating this cold all the way through so who knows?

Yeah if it has to be cold, it can as well be record breaking cold and interesting. One day postponed and the cold wave could have threatened some March record lows. He did experience London's coldest night since 23rd January 2015, assuming he is still there? I returned back home yesterday. But I was lucky to experience some snowfall, all these old brick buildings in Camden looked really picturesque with the falling snow.

For RDU: 20°F/-7°C on the morning of December 26. For OKC: 18°F/-8°C on the morning of December 14.
Both on the milder side of normal to the date but nothing too crazy.
