Generally speaking ( and given the altitude of 1500m asl ) its a damn fine example of a Southern Hemisphere highland tropical climate. Altitude and latitude wise there is nothing like it in Australia... The Atherton Tablelands inland from Cairns/Innisvale are similar but much lower altitude around 700m-900m asl. Has your typical summer months monsoonal rainfall pattern ( ie wet/dry ) and mostly mild all year round. I rate it a B+.... be better except for those sub zero mins.... lol. There are high peaks in QLD about the same altitude and latitude, but only rain gauges on them, not full weather stations.... would be interesting to see a full AWS on the summit of Mt Bartle Frere and Bellenden Kerr ( around 1600m asl ). The highest town in QLD, Herberton ( 918m asl, 17.18*S ):

Solid B. Very comfortable temperatures year round, nice amount of rainfall and some variability for its latitude, although it's definitely subpar regarding the latter.

Overly wet and cloudy summers - I don't need this Not to mention there is no real heat potential. Seems like it's comfortable overall, but too boring for my taste.

How do you know summers are cloudy if sunshine hours are not shown in the weatherbox?

C+, comfortable year round but would like a bit more seasonality. Also, not a fan of the overly wet summers and dry winters.

Orographic lift.
Antsirabe is located at the elevated mountainous terrain, therefore the orographic lift is pronounced during the high sun period (summer for example):
Sunshine hours for Madagascar:
Notice that most of the cities in the pic are cloudy in the summer apart from Toliara which is located at the SW of the country and has a different climatology and terrain. Now Antananarivo (the capital) is near Antsirabe and is located on the same mountain range, therefore it is reasonable to conclude that Antsirabe has a cloudy and wet summer too. By the way, I already knew this stuff before, since I monitored the 2022/23 SH summer weather including the Madagascar weather, and the satellite image often showed a great amount of T-storm clouds over the mountainous areas of Madagascar. Here is the forecast for this week:
