If you were able to individually pick the strongest features features from various climates within your own country or state, such as highs/lows, rainfall, sunshine, etc. On a month by month basis, and combine them all into a single climate, what would it look like? I'll try to construct mine as soon as I figure out how to create a climate box

With the US, it’s too easy as there’s already a handful of A climates. With New York, there’s just not enough variation to make it interesting.
There’s such little precipitation variation that it really makes no difference.
My favorite climate in NY is Poughkeepsie but even combining with the driest climate in the state doesn’t make enough difference to raise the grade.
Good thread idea, but doesn’t make much difference for me.

Here's one for New Zealand: This is actually a very good climate tbh, Hastings monthly record highs, average highs Mar-Nov average lows, winter record lows. Rangiora all time record high, Auckland summer lows, Wellington rainfall Mar-Oct, Tekapo rainfall Nov-Feb and Nelsons sunshine year round of course I think you might like those summer averages lommaren?

I'd take Falsterbo winter temps and Karesuando winter precipitation although with Hoburg precipitation days. Abisko fall precipitation might be too dry so perhaps Karesuando there too. And I might even take Torup or Ljungby's summer precipitation amount for more exciting storms. And Nordkoster has got the sunniest winter and fall sunshine so I'll take that.

Https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narooma,_New_South_Wales#Climate Mild and comfortable all year round. Beach swimming (which I love and enjoy) might be a disappointment there cos the summers are not hot enough and the water will be rather cold. But I'm willing to sacrifice that I guess.

Tbh, I prefer that Auckland receives more rainfall and that Narooma has more sunshine. Yes, both temperatures are very comfortable and I wouldn't mind, although they're not ideal.

Nice thread idea. I didn't include mountain tops or capes which would be like cheating for sunshine. Temperature wise there is room for improvement but I simply took Regensburg (Nov-Jan) and Karlsruhe the rest of the year. Sun and preacipitation are from various stations.

Not much variation in Southern Finland for this.
I practically took Helsinki Airport's and Kaisaniemi's winters, Mariehamn's/Turku's early springs and autumns, Kouvola's summer highs and Kaisaniemi's summer lows, practically Utö's sunshine and the precipitation combined all of these.

Here's mine. Braemar and London and some south coast climate Yup, and I used my own climate in Mar & Nov just to balance out some of the shoulder transitions. Also threw some Essex rainfall in there to make some months pretty dry.
