Interesting story behind it. It's based around a demo John Lennon recorded in his home back in the 70's. When the surviving members got together in the 90s his family gave them the tape, they tried to finish it but the quality of the recording was too poor so it was put to one side. Paul McCartney said he'd definitely try to finish it one day. Only recently, 30 years later, was the technology created to allow him and Ringo to restore the audio to a point where they could finally finish the song. |
