I haven't listened to music in over two years now. I didn't listen to music very often during the last year of having a computer, and then once I moved out with my girlfriend and left my computer behind I never ever used spotify even once except when she was playing music. Got my computer back now and discovered my old spotify playlists. One song that I'd almost completely forgot is Line of fire. Really good song. It was featured in the trailer for the last season of Breaking Bad. Apparently it's made by a Swedish dude.

One of my favourite bands comes a new single from this week. They have a very British summer indie sound, pleasant vocals and melodies. If you want some summer tunes this is defintely one.

Almost as good as the og! Holy shit this is amazing, his R&B voice, southern accent, country beats... geez! Straight out of jax florida, apparently a man of god as well! Thats where his name sekond chaynce came from as he came back to god. His music is good as shit, accidentally found him yesterday.

I've never heard anything like this before! Spacy dreamy pop + grunge. Very cool.

Love this song. Also the first line is great: "cracking open one with the boys, by-my-self"

Good proto-post-rock from Chicago 1994:

Some very amazing melodic German music I always listened to in Denver. Really seemed to suit the landscape and weather there: I haven't listened to it much here. Do you like this Hlidskjalf?

Same as my post in the dungeon synth thread. Of course, I've listened to other things but I like this one quite a bit. Not too often I like such new music:

Good aussie indie stuff again, unusual melody but it works.

This latest single has definitely locked Sure Sure as my #1 band at the moment. They haven't made a single misstep yet, some of their older music isn't exactly my type but it's still very good and their new stuff is constantly excellent.

Has a very "hotel california" vibe to it at the beginning but might be my favourite on the album (which is a great one at that). The Amazons are one of the big risers in popularity for modern rock.
