The Hungarian sz represents the s sound, while the Polish sz is similar to the English sh. These are two different sounds which are just accidentally the same in writing. For me Hungarian sounds like an alien language. Polish is on the other hand very clear and understandable, knowing Ukrainian. Polish: |

I can understand maybe a few familiar words or phrases from Polish - as far as there are similarities with Russian. Maybe. But Hungarian is in any case less comprehensible of the two. |
