I accidentally stumbled upon this recently. My ex GF was a huge José González fan and we used to listen to him a lot. And that GF was special in the way that we actually stayed as friends after our breakup. We haven't been in touch for years, but hope she's doing all right.

Ukrainian from 2 years ago. How it wasn't sent to Eurovision is mystery for me. Perhaps Ukraine has adopted the BBC's Eurovision policy, ignore good performers and instead recruit someone they saw singing down at the local pub. |

Ukrainian Eurovision songs are selected in Vidbir which is a musical competition show organized by Ukrainian TV. The song was in the final, but it didn't win, because Russian speakers in Ukraine loved something else. If only western Ukraine had the choice, the song would win, I'm sure. |
