Now some more folklore of my region, I came across videos on Youtube.
A song in Ludza dialect (Ludzī kīļ). Ludza is the southeasternmost dialect of the South-Estonian language (yeah, if you do not consider the dialects of the Georgian (the country) or Australian Estonians as the 'most southeastern dialects'), it was spoken in southeastern Latvia, almost in Belarusia. However, this language is much closer to the dialect of my area than, for example, the official (north)Estonian language
Although the speakers of this language lived apart from the rest of the Estonian dialects for centuries and their neighbors were Latvians and Belarusians, they preserved their language. Howver, the dialect is now extinct, the last native speaker died in 2006.
A Livonian folk song. Livonians were not Estonians, but they were the closest relatives.
Further east. Udmurts are probably one of the best-known eastern Finno-Ugric peoples for Estonians. Here they perform a Komi folk song in Udmurt language.

rozenn , many people are of the opinion that the final solo here was even better than the studio version. 8:03 onwards sounds like it's from another planet.

Ariete, quite a big hit in 1998. I've heard it on the radio a few times, didn't listen closely enough to realise it was referencing the X-Files.
