Today is the last day of the brightest 1/3rd of the year (21 April until 21 August), two months after the solstice:
Sunrise: 06:56:26 Solar Noon: 13:24:01 Sunset: 19:51:36 Peak Sun Angle: 75.85 degrees Length of Day: 12:55:10
Sun angle has dropped ~11.6 degrees since the solstice and we've lost about 52 minutes since the solstice in daylight.

Last day of August:
Sunrise: 07:00:44 Solar Noon: 13:21:10 Sunset: 19:41:36 Peak Sun Angle: 72.36 degrees Length of Day: 12:40:52
Last day of August....sun angle has dropped by almost exactly 15 degrees (15.03 degrees or so) since the solstice and we've lost 66 minutes of daylight. In August alone, the sun angle dropped by 9.42 degrees and we lost 40 minutes of daylight. Sun angle is back to what it was on 11 April.
Sun is directly overheard at 8.46 N and on the horizon at 81.54 S.
Interesting tidbit of information, sun angle drops by month from summer to winter solstice:
June 21 ------> July 21: 3.12 degrees (87.39 to 84.27 degrees) July 21 -------> August 21: 8.42 degrees (84.27 to 75.85 degrees) August 21 -------> Sep 21: 11.43 degrees (75.85 to 64.42 degrees) Sep 21 --------> Oct 21: 11.38 degrees (64.42 to 53.04 degrees) Oct 21 ---------> Nov 21: 9.16 degrees (53.04 to 43.88 degrees) Nov 21 ---------> Dec 21: 3.43 degrees (43.88 to 40.45 degrees)
