The snowfall is awesome, but it's way too cold from May - September, especially June - August. November through March is too mild as well. April and October are excellent months however. It's a livable climate by my standards, but not my cup of tea, though not horrible. I'll give it a D.

Paskemmaksi muuttuu vaan joka kerta.
I'll give it an E+ for at least being livable. Nothing positive to say apart from Dec-Feb.

F. No crummer to speak of and no, I don't want to spend an hour digging out my car most of the year to go to the bottle shop.

It bothers me a bit that the record low is lower in May than October in this climate. A bit unconventional.

E-
Sole redeeming feature is that winters are mild for subarctic ones...
Cut snow 1/3 and raise summers to 20/14 and you'd have a D-

Let's call it seasonal lag combined with a freak cold wave on May 1 Plant hardiness is pretty much a copy of Tromsรธ, right? Or do temps fall beneath -20ยฐC every year? It appears to be Tromsรธ with sort of a summer and faster warmup.

The coldest in a given year would probably be around -24. It's actually created with Breckenridge as a base. Records (both high and low) raised, averages moderated slightly, some precipitation added and some snow removed.

If the neighbouring village behind the mountain instead got 300 July sunshine hours, what would that sun strength lead to for exact temp range? 25/10? Seems like the sun has a major drive of temps there considering the all-time summer highs.

What was the high when that -6 F (-21 C) was recorded? That May record low is actually pretty similar to my dream climate, which has a May record low of -8 F (-22 C) and a record low high of 10 F (-12 C).

Sky Valley's March seems subtropicaine compared to Turdku and Bunghole in 2018.
