I think this interior Galician climate will get a lot more love than the usual Northern Spanish climates get, even though it's quite gloomy it still manages two months with highs above 30°C, with a PNW-like sunshine frequency for summer. Winters are far less damp and milder than the PNW though. Spring warmup is very fast too, before it stalls in April for some reason. I'll give this one a B, I'd like summer highs to be 2-3°C lower to get an A- but it's a very solid climate to say the least. I wouldn't mind 500 hours more of sunshine, which also ruins a B+ in this case. So, straight B, especially thanks to June and September being epic months

D+. Too mild, boring and wet in winter, summer looks very good though.

B, pretty good overall. Summers are great, winters are comfortable. Could use a quicker warmup in spring, but all of Spain pretty much suffers from that weird lag from March to April unfortunately. Could use more sun too.

B+, by inland standards (should it receive plenty of storms, that is). If not, then it is a B–...two whole ratings lower! Reminds me of Bendigo, temperature-wise...

It has the Paradoxical California Coast Record Lows™.
At least it's inland and has mountains nearby Has to be said though that the phenomenon appears to be strictly confined to the area inland. Vigo has never fallen below 7.2°C in July/August even at 261 m asl! A Coruña's airport stands at 5.2°C also not immediately on the coast, so maybe that August record low really was a freak accident after all Having said that, apparently Santiago de Compostela has recorded a 1.0°C August record low, so perhaps not...

For me that's actually A- nowadays. The dry summers and the absence of excessive winter precipitation seals it. Summers would be a touch too hot maybe, but at least the lows in summer are perfect! Also, June and September are about as good as any summer gets.

Lommaren yeah it looks really great. Reminds me of nei 's dream climate but with slightly colder winters and less sun. Something like it would make an excellent climate that's moderate mostly but with a bit of summer heat and winter coolness for interest. Can you post braga? B/B+, mainly since i prefer a bit chillier winters for more snow potential, perhaps a bit more sun as well, maybe 1c milder summer highs in addition but the heat is dry and it adds a bit of stress/interest. Think i actually like the cooler spring with this one. Into subtropique lommie interior climates now !
