Jeju Island, off the coast of South Korea, is South Korea's most popular vacation destination, around 10 million people visit it each year. The Hawaiian islands, are also a very popular vacation destination, around 5 million people visit the island of Oahu each year. Honolulu is Oahu and Hawaii's largest city. Which famous island vacation destination has the better climate? Jeju

There's never a good time to vacation in Jeju. No consistently warm, dry season. It's either cool and moist or hot, humid, and rainy as fuck |

Voted for Honolulu although Jeju overall isn't that bad. It's fairly sunny for the amount of rainfall it gets on a monthly/annual basis, which makes me wonder how heavy the rain is and how long it lasts when it falls. That June-July temperature contrast is pretty unusual given the April and May averages though.

No thanks I can assure y'all, monsoonal months it doesnt rain all day every day....often the rain falls at night, even during the daylight hours its not a 'socked in' all day sorta drizzle. Some heavy sharp bursts there most likely, and I doubt very much it impacts the holiday experience. The 'wet' there is not torrential going by the data in the wikibox. Looks like a pretty decent holiday destination to me.... |
