Hard to predict what will happen in the coming months, but what are your wishes for the weather of 2023? As of the beginning of 2023, I had these in mind: - A warm February following a frontloaded winter ✅
- Break a monthly record high in any month ✅
- Get a March and April that doesn't see any sub-50°F highs (possible, though not very likely) ❌
- Break the 100°F barrier in summer for the first time since June 2015 ❌
- Another year without hurricanes that bring significant impacts to the Carolinas ✅
- A warm fall all-around, not like Cucktober 2022 ❌
✅ denotes that it's already occurred, while ❌ denotes it didn't occur

A month that is either wetter or cooler than normal

•At least 5 day-to-day changes in highs >30 f •At least 1 day-to-day change in highs >40 f •Ideally a day-to-day change in highs >50 f
•A 20+ f temp drop in 10 minutes while I’m outside
•Another <-10 f low •Any monthly record high or low
•May snow •September snow •At least 2 daily snowfalls >6” •Daily snowfall >12”
•Wet April-July •>40 thunderstorms
•Cool July and August •Mild November

* March to be colder than January and February (it would be really historic and this is the first year where it's actually trending this way!) * A spring with normal warmup trend (no snow in May or fast-forward to summer) * Dry / cool / windy on second weekend in June (week of the Canadian Open) * Cooler summer but less thunderstorms (we would get one of these two but almost never both) * Cold and sunny December (unlike 2022) * White Christmas

I don't think I'm being too unrealistic here.
- Breaking the 100 F barrier for the first time since 2012 - An actually decently warm April that doesn't still feel like winter - 70s in November (which actually happened last year!) - All three summer months wetter than average with good thunderstorms - Green(ish) Halloween, and brown (as opposed to white) Christmas

Yes but much more of a watcher than a player. The third item on the wishlist is the only one that directly correlates to my interest in golf.

✅ indicate that the wish has already been fulfilled. Wishlist is for Atlanta, but most of these wishes can apply to wherever.
- Multiple decent 1”+ rainstorms in January and February ✅ - Early spring warmup (February warmer than January) ✅ - Spring devoid of freezes - Above average temperatures for this spring as a whole - Some 100F+ heat this summer - June and July both drier than average - Fall devoid of freezes

A wet May would be super cool... ( not cool as in temps, but simply some rain that would delay the ravages of the 'dry season' for an extra coupla weeks. ) Most years May is rainless, but sometimes we might get the odd May downpour.... record is 298.9mm back in 1968. The mean is 20.4mm, but the median is only 4.3mm.... So any May rainfall is a real bonus....
