Yosemite Valley's climate has changed quite a bit just in the past century. Here we compare its present-day climate with the climate as it was from 1911-1940. Which version do you prefer? 1911-19401991-2020Notable differences:- Yosemite Valley had much cooler low temperatures in the past
- Also more than twice as snowy as well.
- However, daytime highs were significantly warmer during the shoulder seasons (Almost 4F warmer in March). I wonder how much of it is attributable to climate change versus changes in the way temperatures are measured.

Both are rubbish but the past one is better.

Past
I find it hard to believe the differences are this big though. Looks like a different location/elevation.
Definitely looks suspect (either set of data).

Past I find it hard to believe the differences are this big though. Looks like a different location/elevation. Definitely looks suspect (either set of data). Yeah, there's bit quite a few relocations over the years... Anyway, I pick the new averages as they have much warmer lows and less snow, but are still somehow marginally wetter.

Definitely present: similar highs, warmer lows, more rain and less snow.
