 Here you go guys! Cougar Dam, east of Eugene, has a hot-summer Mediterranean climate and is the warmest place in Oregon by annual mean. Its annual mean is about on par with downtown San Francisco and winters are nearly as mild as the NorCal lowlands, at 5+ degrees higher latitude! This is due to the nearly constant foehn winds from the mountains to the west. In addition, Cougar Dam has a gold standard fan aspirated Davis station. Can this area grow a wide variety of palms and subtropical vegetation? |

A, this is the best climate in all of Oregon. Sweet Mediterranean rainfall pattern with intense atmospheric rivers and good temps, only flaw is the summer lag.
