Salo, easily. More continental and better in every season.

Salo; warmer summers and Gothenburg's winters are anyway.

Salo is a great A- climate while GΓΆteborg is pretty terrible C-/D+, although still better than where I am located now, but not by much.

Yetebori. Generally milder, not much colder in July & August.

Salo. The warmer summers win it for me. Both winters are anyway cold and grim so no bias there.

Salo, by any standard. Cooler annual mean and greater snowfall favour my maritime standards; more heat and frost for my inland standards, too.

Lol touchΓ© regarding the reference periods. I'd take Gothenburg 81-10 either way. Significantly warmer winters and warmer shoulder seasons and significantly longer vegetation period.

Both are D- climates but I'll give the edge to Salo. Slightly warmer summers win it for me. The winters are colder but I'm thinking that just means they get more snow and less rain, which is a plus.
