Seems pretty fair for high 42°N, ay? A- for me; summers are a touch too hot but winters are awesome, with May, June, September and October being epic months and I like that Bastia can get frost beneath -3°C in four separate months. Offers suitable winter variability.

D, by inland standards. Diurnals are pitifully narrow, humidity is much too high and winter lows are too warm with not enough frost. Thunderstorm activity also looks to be rather poor, which buggers it even farther up the ass It is absurdly warm for 42° N, I'll have you know.

D+. Winter is too mild and boring but at least it still gets a bit of snow. They’re also too wet but theres not that many rain days. Summer could use warmer highs and cooler lows but isn’t bad.

Going by Tutiempo, it averages 33 days with thunder per year, though that could be anything from an epic overhead storm to a couple rumbles. The main stormy season is fall, though storms can occur any time of the year.

I give it a D. It has its pros, namely awesome summer temps and an interesting storm season. It also has its cons, ie much too warm winters, depressingly dry summers (precipitation-wise, not humidity-wise!) and a mind-numbing temperature stability. All in all, I find it to be a - very - slightly worse climate than the one I live in now, which gets a D+.

C.
Great summers, but the rest of the year is pretty abysmal.

B, quite good. I really like the Southern European islands.

D
Too warm in every season except the summer, which is too dry.
