Two climates that lay at high polar latitudes upon turbulent waters—both very different, however! My answer is plainly South Orkney due to being far more exciting and scoring much better by maritime standards; A+ by those very standards, in fact! If you haven't already noticed, my dream maritime climate (Sir Hedin Cove) was based chiefly off the Orcodas climate box. The representatives for North and South Orkney are Kirkwall and Orcodas Base, respectively. Kirkwall, North Orkney, North Sea; 58° 59' 5.24" N.
Orcadas Base, South Orkney, Shrieking Sixties; 60° 43' 59.99" S.

North Orkney. South Orkney is a cruel and unusual alternative to the death penalty....

Orcadas Base is far more interesting, I'd easily choose that one. Give me constant snow over constant bore hole.

Kirkwall. It at least has something resembling warmth and summer isn’t that wet.

Kirkwall by a long shot. There's not much positive to say about South Orkneys.

North Orkney. Only a masochist would choose South Orkney
