If only this could be an actual year! I could do 1972-present (since beginning of records at modern KC airport) or 2000-present (better reflection of possibility in modern climate) if people are interested. This month combination as a year gets an A- from me, just uncontinentalise the temperatures a bit (lower the summer average highs, average lows, and record lows - warm the winter average highs and lows and lower the November, March, April record highs) and it would be an A.

C+. With warmer shoulder seasons and drier summers it would be close to A.

What would you change specifically? And if I move anywhere for weather, it's not going to be north, it's going to be west! Breckenridge, Nederland, Leadville, Idaho Springs, Woodland Park. West of Vail the summers get too hot for me, south of Leadville the winters are too cold (Gunnison is ridiculous), and north of Nederland the precipitation starts to get weird. It's just this one little amazing pocket of Colorado there somehow. That's just the best part of North America, though. (other great parts: areas around Lake Superior, coastal southern Alaska, Canadian Maritimes). My favorite climate globally is Davos, but given how hard it is to move to Switzerland I doubt I'll ever end up moving there.

January: 2.3" and 13" snow means there was rain mixed in. 25-30" snow would be nice, or just make the average precipitation 1" less so it's mostly snow. July: 10 inches is too wet if that's the average, a good average is 3 to 5 inches. The nights are too warm, should be in the 50's, but 64 isn't too bad. September: make it colder and wetter. 66/46, 3" precipitation. November: make it colder and wetter. 38/20, 2.5" precipitation, 10-15" snow would be great. Here's my ideal climate from a C-D thread. It hasn't changed much. i.imgur.com/s7AsVZe.pngMost of those climates in Colorado are too cold in summer nights but they're not bad. I like Steamboat Springs too, but the summers are warmer. Of the ones you picked I'd choose Vail. Davos is your favorite climate? It has mild temperatures for how much snow it gets, but I would miss warm summer days there.

January: 2.3" and 13" snow means there was rain mixed in. 25-30" snow would be nice, or just make the average precipitation 1" less so it's mostly snow. Living here and knowing the climate well, the rain that fell was likely one heavy rainfall event. Wait a second, I can actually check. Okay. So there are only two days that month with recorded precipitation but no recorded new snow, the 19th and the 20th. Temperatures for those two days are 33/16 and 39/27 respectively, and the precipitation total of both days combined is 1.06 inches. So it was one heavy event. July: 10 inches is too wet if that's the average, a good average is 3 to 5 inches. The nights are too warm, should be in the 50's, but 64 isn't too bad. I'm afraid you're not going to find cool summer nights here. The average low for July 2017 was 69.5F. That precipitation is definitely exceptionally high, though. I guess something like that happens every few years - August 2017 totaled 10.19 inches, about 6 of those inches from just two days! (21st-22nd) September: make it colder and wetter. Those would all be great improvements to September and November. Not super realistic though...KC's snowiest November was 9.1 inches, and that was 1923. The snowiest recent one was 6.8 inches in 2004. Your ideal climate looks like Japan. Steamboat Springs looks too warm in the summer for me. My favorites of the ones I picked are Breckenridge and Nederland. Honestly, I think my ideal climates with their cool summers are partly just because I live in a place with 90F average highs in July and I'm always tired of heat. I think if I lived in a place with cooler summers my ideal average highs would go up a bit, but I guess we'll have to wait and see for that.

C-. Summer is very nice but too wet, and winter is interesting. Shoulder seasons are too cold though, especially Mar-Apr.

D+ pretty nice summer, miserable winters. Could you do a "maritime KC" sari? Picking cool summer months and warm winter months. Would like to see if there's even a possibility of an A year there for myself

Solid B+/A- great climate. Only issue is the summers aren't quite warm enough, but I like it more than current KC.
Decided to be generous and award it an A on the poll.
Kinda looks a bit like Watertown, SD or a slightly less continental version of Fargo.

B. Dec/Jan are too cold and winters as a whole are too snowy but otherwise pretty decent.
