I wouldn't say this is my dream climate but it's pretty close... Summer is decently sunny with thunderstorms occurring on 90% of the precipitation days May-September. October is a weird transition month as it can still get the summer weather as well as the occasional snowfall. November is significantly colder but winter doesn't really get started until December which is the snowiest month. January is the coldest month by far and the driest as well despite snow falling almost every day. February and March are still cold and snowy ensuring a nice snowdepth at the end of winter. April is another transition month (crossbreed between Oct-Nov) but it does receive the occasional early spring thunderstorm. This climate gets an A+ from me.

B–, by inland standards. Thunderstorm activity and frost are very nice, but winter highs are much too cold and heatwaves are not potent enough, with pitiful diurnals. Sunshine is also a bit too low.

E. Winter is a complete disaster. The avg temp in the summer season are really nice, but there are too many precipitation days. It would be impossible to plan ahead for outdoor activities and even more impossible with the amount of snow during the winter months. If I wanted to become fat, this is the place to go.

E. The winters are shockingly bad, and the summer is extremely rainy, 15 rain days in July?!

D-. Winter is too cold, stable, and boring but at least it’s dry. Temps are super stable and boring year round with lame record highs, summer is disastrously wet and too cool although at least there’s not that many precipitation days. April-June is by far the best time in this climate.

E. Summers are nice but those winters ruin it. Relatively cloudy, cold and snowy is an absolutely terrible combination. I prefer mild rainy winters and hot, humid summers.

Wow, that December looks...intense.
B from me. Good, but too continental and too quick to transition seasons (looking especially at May).

B, too mild from Oct-Dec, and I thought the records would be more extreme lol. Still quite interesting though, and I like all the summer rainfall and winter snowfall.

I'd say this climate is at 43N. It's basically a more continental and wetter Hokkaido. Hokkaido is pretty dry by Japanese standards.

B
Summers are too warm and humid, but gets marks for precipitation. Winters are a little cold, but solid. On the whole, good precipitation and not obnoxiously sunny.
