Nasty climate year round. Belgium is a major letdown in terms of climates: E and that's a kind grade.
What elevation is it?

Bβ, by maritime standards. Precipitation is very splendid; winters cold and snowy, but summers are unfortunately too warm.

Because UK has milder winters at 560 meters and higher latitudes. Continentality must be why their winters are so cold in addition to its elevation. 56.4Β° latitude / 564 meters elevation in Scotland: www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/climate/gfhbvxqrbSomewhat milder winters.
