March: 0 (15th was close, 24.5C)
April: 5 (11th, 12th, 13th, 24th, 30th)
May: 29 (not a typo) (all days except 20th and 21st)
June: 27 (all days except 4th (max 24.5C), 21st, and 22nd)
July so far: all days
30C+:
March: 0
April: 0 (closest: 28.3C on 13th)
May: 11 (8th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 23rd, 26-31) (slightly misleading, as there were many many many days that reached 28-29C)
June: 19 (1st, 6-12, 14-18, 26-30) (misleading in the same way as May: of the 11 non-30C days, only 5 were below 28C: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 20th, 21st).
July: all days except 1st (which was 28.9C)
35C+:
March, April: 0
May: 0 (though one day, the 28th, reached 34.5C and had been forecast to reach 35.5. The 26th was also forecast to reach 35.5, but only reached 33.8.)
June: 8 (11th, 17th, 28th, 29th, 30th. Hottest day of year so far: 28th, max 37.2C or 99F)
July: 0 so far, but obviously will change

Halfway through the summer now so time to update this: 20C: April: 3 May: 9 June: 10 July (up to 15th): 15 Total: 37 (average ~30, record 56) 25C: May: 1 June: 4 July (up to 15th): 7 Total 12 (average ~5, record 23) We're on track for the warmest summer on record, or at least the most warm days  It's hard to believe it's only halfway through the summer, it's been warm for that long. |
