Here is the climate of Camden Square for the period 1858-1897, at the the end of the Little Ice Age (around 1850). Sunshine figures are calculated from cloud cover data, so are probably more comparable to US sun hours (with I assume high pollution and smog of the time). They seem a bit too high from November to March.

C.
Doesn't look too different to regular London, livable but uninteresting.
Better than London's current normals though.

Better than Nyköping; but that's not saying too much.
C.
Thanks to the absence of cold rain in winter in comparison to Vancouver it scores higher than a climate like that.

Better than current London because it looks a bit more continental, but still not good. D.

Are there any long-term numbers from the 1700's?

Surely their radiation cover was a bit poor? Like lacking cover from albedo. Can't imagine London having that warm summers 150 years ago. Weatherbox is similar to modern London in rating. C

C The late 19th/early 20th century summers were warmer than those of the mid 20th century (50s and 60s in particular). It isn't surprising at all. The only months that had warmer highs than today were April, May and June.

Seems exactly the same though we slightly cooler Autumns and winters. C.

It actually looks better than today's London. Same summer temperatures, more sunshine and cooler winter.
