Nimmitabel lies at 36° 26' 14.28" S and is elevated by 1,075 m AMSL in the Monaro region of NSW. Summers are mild to warm, with potent heat spikes relative to average maxima (due to foehn winds) and frequent thunderstorms. Winters are cool to cold, with regular snowfall from May to September; frost or snowfall are possible at any time of the year save for mid/late summer. Its leeward position means that I can only award this climate a B: very poor by inland Southern NSW standards.

B-
Pleasant year round with cool winters and very nice summers (which is definitely the best season, followed by fall).

This would be an A with wetter summers (~130mm average each month) and definitely more summer heat (averages around 27C/14C). The record highs are good though.

D+.
Typical UK high temps, rainfall and wet days but with extremely cold lows.
If it had sensible low temps then it would be a C like the majority of the UK.

D+, that plus for it being leeward. So it will have warmer days.

B. Could be an A climate if average lows were 4~5°C warmer.
