I think this climate is great. Even though it's rather dry, I think I'm still going to give in an A because everything else is pretty much perfect.

A–, by inland standards. Splendid summers and diurnals, with nice chilly winters. Unfortunately, it is FAR too cloudy and much too dry, with poor thunderstorm activity.

Record lows too cold unfortunately. Summers are great and shoulder seasons are generally good, but -36°C is simply not good enough. Still a lot better than Vancouver.

Unfortunately, it is FAR too cloudy 1950 hours is FAR too cloudy? Then what do you consider climates like London's (1635), Bergen's (1190) or Chongqing's (955)?

Those climates you mentioned are either subarctic shitholes or tropical shitholes. For inland standards, my ideal sunshine would straddle between 2,400 to 2,900 hrs, most ideally round ~2,700 hrs. Also, 35.1 sunshine hrs in one month is lethally cloudy...especially for winter! I like my winters sunny and frosty, thank you very much

First and only city I've visited in Canada (so far). A little dry and teeters on being too sunny, but overall a very decent climate. B+

Hmm, interesting climate. Probably one of the best in Canada. I like the warm summer afternoons and overall dryness. I also like the fact that the winters aren't absurdly cold but are still quite snowy. Still, too cool in general, particularly at night. C+.

B+, I like it a lot even if the diurnals are too high for much of the year and I would imagine it looks parched.

Um, yeah, 1950 hours is far too cloudy. London is terrible, and those other 2 are suicidal anomolies compared to most of the inhabited world.

B due to the lows outside winter and too low precipitation. And I mean, I like cloud in winter, but that is a bit excessive.

B-.
Decent 4-season climate but precip and temp variation/extremes aren't enough for my liking. Winters need to be colder/snowier. Summers need to be warmer/drier.
