Bournemouth beat Newcastle 1-0. Finally we're out of relegation which is a welcome change. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can get into a mid table position.

I don't really know, started the beginning of last season. When I choose new teams to support I look at the mid-lower tables teams because you get to feel success and failure when starting out.
Also, it's really fun to shout BOURNEMOUTH in an obnoxious british accent.

Honduras vs Australia 4pm Honduras time (6am Perth time). Going to be interesting to see if we'll change our play style and be more dynamic instead of relying on Cahill and Mooy. My prediction is 2-2.

NZ still alive for the second round with a 0-0 draw against Peru, in Wellington.

It's truly mind-boggling the amount of travelling your teams have to do to play these South American teams, especially since most of your players are probably based in Europe as well Same thing with the Rugby Championship when you get NZ vs South Africa, Australia vs Argentina etc, must be some serious jet lag involved too.

Plenty of air points though.

Frustrating game, Peru could've played so much better. Hoping for a better showing the second leg
Peru always play to the level of the opposition. They beat Haiti just 1-0 in the Copa (Brazil thrashed Haiti 7-1), but then beat the same Brazil 1-0 too

NZ still alive for the second round with a 0-0 draw against Peru, in Wellington. Decent result. Draws were a NZ specialty during the 2010 World Cup - 3 draws wasn't enough for us to advance to the second round, but we were the only unbeaten team at the tournament.

Never seen anyone who could strike a ball like Riise.

Never seen anyone who could strike a ball like Riise. Sinisa Mihajlovic was a carbon copy but even better at striking it but nvm This free kick (!) hat trick in a 5-2 win for Lazio against Sampdoria in 1998 is just crazy stuff!

He broke Alan Smith's leg with a free kick. Was it that game when Crouch won it against Money Utd with a header?
