An often overlooked medieval city when Portugal's tourist attractions are discussed, it has one of Portugal's most continental climates with very variable and sometimes scorching summers coupled with moderate winters that keep surroundings reasonably green. B- for me: All-time records are too hot, and average highs are a bit higher than my ideal in summer, but winters are well inside the comfort range so long as the indoor heating is adequate.

C+, by inland standards. Very nice summers & sunshine hrs, but very gay "winters" and pitiful Mediterranean precipitation pattern, which means sod-all storms If you look at the temperature swings in shoulder seasons I think you'll get quite a few then October looks to be very fertile ground for those.

C-. Summer looks epic, winter is too wet and mild.

Flip the precipitation pattern and it looks like what 2017 in KC felt like. C-/D+

B+.
Not a bad climate, but I would like more reliable heat (hotter summers), but it gets bonus points for the record highs in summer, and the decent sunshine.

B+. It could stand to be wetter, and the spring warm-up is a bit sluggish for my tastes, but overall it's still very good.

D-
Extremely boring, way too warm all year, and wrong precip pattern.

What's the fucking point of necroing this bygone thread? FFS, get real.
Aaaanyways, D+; summer temps are good, although too stable by minima, and far too dry. Winters too mild and boring, and worse yet, warm front-infested going by the location.

A climates exist all over the Mediterranean, this is on the western end while Jerusalem is on the east. I would tend to consider them more B to B+ climates, but in general I agree with you. I like the temperatures best in places like Athens or Cyprus with their warmer summer temperatures, but I like the precipitation amounts best in Italy and Portugal where it doesn't border on semi-arid.

C, I like uniform rainfall and winters are shit hot I would not describe those winters as "hot", and if you truly are from Indio, California, you should be no stranger to warmer temperatures in any part of the year. Evora's winters aren't quite the romanticized vision of a winter wonderland, but I would still classify 14'C as a distinctly cool temperature and would more than likely need central heating.

They are cool, but warmer than I’d like it. My winters suck to be honest. Dry, sunny, and warm.

C. Too hot and dry in the summer and too sunny year round, plus I'm not a fan of Mediterranean precipitation patterns. Still not awful though.

B-
Good find. I like how its winters are not that wet for a Med climate, even if slightly gloomy (though not to the intolerable level). Rest of the year is gorgeous.
