Rate: Richmond, Virginia

Came to think of this place because of the car race on the adjacent oval tonight.

Quite continental by Virginian standards, with hotter summer days than the DC metro area and Virginia Beach, while winters have colder nights than both.

D+ for me, narrowly beaten by my home climate, albeit pretty much a tie. Summers are way too hot and humid for me, while winter highs are a bit too low; I can live with frost nights, but would need better summers to fully accept 8/-2 winters. April, May and October are brilliant though, but far too many months fall short of required standards, even though March, September and November are pretty good. June-August are big letdowns though; but far better than deeper south.
