D+ too many clouds in summer, July is a bit too cool and too cold winter nights, aside from that it looks pretty good by Hokkaido standards with manageable snowfall at least

B, could be an A if summer was sunnier and a few degrees warmer, especially early summer. Winters look sunny and snowy which is nice.

There's no way the sunshine data is correct.

There's no way the sunshine data is correct. It matches up with that part of the world pretty much, summers are extremely cloudy due to the East Asian monsoon, whereas the Siberian High sunshine dominates non-snowy days in winter.

Vow, that's a crappy deal. You get sunny, but still far too cold winters, and in return you get lukewarm summers with less sunshine than Lerwick.

D-, simply too cold. I kinda like the idea of a snowy but sunny winter and I hear it does OK for storms too. But five months with lows averaging below freezing? Nope!

A-
A tad too sunny and I imagine some summer days may be a bit sticky, but overall a decent climate.
