Thoughts? I'll go with C- thanks to the epic summers and seven excellent months by our standards. Winters would be a bit of a letdown, but at least it's snowy and knowing the warmth will come in abundance from April would ease the pain. The June-August cycle is in particular intriguing. June 1953 was a cloudy, wet but warm maritime month that provides the bulk of this climate's precipitation. July 1994 saw a complete absence of rainfall and more than 400 sunshine hours. August 1997 on the other hand was Azorean in the temperature consistency regarding the highs, with the warm water tempering the lows. So, in other words summer will have three completely different faces, with 7 days above 30°C in July 1994. Due to the clear nights in early July, the overnight lows actually fall (!) between June and July in this climate, although they of course peak in August. Of course the March/April layover is a bit unrealistic, so if this was a real climate March would probably need about 10°C as mean maximum to make it even sort of legit. Months used: January 1987 February 1985 March 1962 April 2011 May 1992 June 1953 July 1994 August 1997 September 2016 October 1961 November 1965 December 2010

C+. Winter is too cold and March is awful but otherwise it’s pretty good.

C-
Big points off for the dry summer. June is decent but the other months are way too dry. The rest of the year is decent.

B–, by inland standards. Winter highs are much too cold, summer precipitation is too low, but those summers are splendid! If only it was actually like this Also, any idea on the sunshine hrs? If they straddle between 2,400-2,900 hrs, then it will upgrade to B.

I only have an idea of a few of the months but considering the dominance of high-pressure systems I'd suggest it was about 2,200 or something.

B. Good winter, good summer, but too dry. I agree with the March high too low, the October low is also too mild. It would be an A if there was more rain from April to October.

Polar winters and anemic crummers with shit record highs and lame lows. Not enough rain/storms either.
