Righto, lads! Time to spice up this subforum a little from the usual autism, ayyy As for the match, Bunghole is plainly my answer; much more exciting by maritime and inland standards. Bunghole is also much sunnier, has more handsome rain and is much warmer overall. Binghamton, NY (Upstate), United States; 488 m AMSL; 42° 5' 55.32" N.
Norrköping, Östergötland, Sweden; 21 m AMSL; 58° 35' 15.72" N.

Bunghole is superior in every way.
More winter sunshine, colder winter temps, more precip, more snow, warmer summers. Norrköping just can't compete with any climate.
Bunghole is actually quite a nice climate I do say so myself!

Bunghole is more continental, snowier, and probably gets many more thunderstorms. Easy choice for me.

I like the dryness of Norrkoping but the temps aren’t close. Bunghole it is.

Remember that US sunshine hours are inflated when compared to European measurements of sunshine by ca 15%. So to compare these wrt sunshine, consider that Norrköping has ca 2000 US sunshine hours.

Bunghole is better in almost every single way. December through March temperatures are better in Norrköping, as well as rainfall, but other than that Bunghole is a clear winner.
Although the sunshine difference isn't all that substantial as the climate boxes suggest. 2000h vs 1800 for 1981-2010.

IIRC US sunshine figures are overstated by about 10% compared to international measurements.
