Medicine Hat is Canada's sunniest city and one of the warmest climates on the prairies. It averages 330.4 days with measureable sunshine, 20.6 days with lightning, and 26.5 days with highs above 30C. This is another A grade climate for me (perhaps an A- due to the severity of winter cold snaps and being overly dry). Along with Windsor it's one of my favorite Canadian climates, and one of the few climates in the country that I actually really like overall.

That's 20.6 more days of lightning than Renmark One of Canada's better climates. D- Winters far too cold, and lows too cold year round. I'd still prefer more sun and longer summers.

B+
Just needs to be wetter, especially in winter.

Looks okay statswise but they don't tell you of the strong wind even when it's -30'C. Definitely lowers it. D-

C: Cold potential is way too much, as are winter average lows, summers are epic though and really salvages this climate to become rather decent by Canadian standards.

For a four season climate it is not a bad one. However, winter record lows are too cold, for that I'll give C+.

A little too dry and sunny, but temperatures aren't bad.

D-, too cold year-round. Over 2 inches of snow average in May? Yeah, I don't like this place.

Solid B+. Temperatures are good, but it's too dry and needs more snowfall in the winter. Also winter averages are a bit too mild (as are summer averages) but it looks like a fun climate with lots of variability.

D. Freezing yet manageable winters and compensable summers.

The winters easily overbalance summer here to land an E+ grade.

Less snow then New Brunswick does not make for much of a positive. D-

I'm changing my vote to a B on this one, the high diurnal range and long snow season drag it down. Still one of the better climates in Canada in my opinion, and one I think I'd be pretty content living in.
